Mrs. Lenora Billings, who works primarily with the junior high students, has been on the faculty since 1986 and oversees our students with special needs.  Mrs. Billings is a proud mama of three sons who have graduated from FBS, and two sweet grandbaby girls.  Mrs. Billings is also an active part of the church music program.

Mr. Harlin Bollon has been serving at Faith since 2004 and currently assists Mr. Bowen in maintaining the Faith Baptist campus when not filling orders for custom cabinetry.  Three of his children are FBS alumni, one of whom recently moved to Taiwan to serve as a missionary.

Mr. Edd Bowen, Sr. has been serving as the director of grounds and maintenance since 2001.  He loves talking with the students as he works around the campus.  All three of his children are graduates of the school.

Mrs. Patricia Bowen has been serving in the capacity of financial secretary for the school since 2001 when she and her husband moved back to Michigan from Louisiana.  She loves seeing a second generation of Bowens being trained for Christ at Faith.

  Pastor Andy Burak serves as the senior pastor of Grace Baptist Church of Romeo.  He teaches Bible at Faith, where two of his children are enrolled in the school.

  Mrs. Sarah Burton began teaching third grade when her husband (a 1996 grad of FBS) was called to North Baptist Church of Flint where he serves as associate pastor. Mrs. Burton’s love for each of her students is evident daily. The Burton’s have three children.

Mr. Joe Cobb has been on the faculty of our school since the very beginning, in 1978.  In the early days he taught fifth grade before becoming elementary principal.  His fourth grade has become famous for western week and baseball week since Mr. Cobb became the teacher.  His two daughters are both graduates of Faith Baptist Schools.

  Mrs. Marsha Cobb came with her husband to Faith just a few weeks after getting married in 1978.  She has served as a cheerleading coach and school secretary, but now loves introducing students to good literature as the school librarian.  She also manages the campus bookstore.

Mr. Michael Cox was hired in 1990 to teach junior high classes, and he has since taught almost every class during his twenty-two years at Faith.  He currently serves as the high school principal, teaches senior government, junior high Bible and history, as well as boys’ P.E. and a high school study hall. He is married to Sabrina and has one dog, Thor.

Mrs. Sabrina Cox, a 1988 graduate of FBS, started working at the school in 1992 as a piano teacher but has been associated with the church and school ministry since coming to the church in 1973 where she is an active member of the church music program. Her role at the school this year is that of yearbook adviser.

Mrs. Ann Dunn grew up in Connecticut where she began teaching in 1996.  She joined the faculty of Faith in 2011 where she teaches the Pre-Kindergarten class. Mrs. Dunn is an active member of the church music program and teacher for both the children’s and women’s ministries. Mrs. Dunn and her husband currently have two of their three children enrolled at Faith.

Her love of children and calm presence in the classroom make for a learning environment in which her students can thrive. Mrs. Hose and her husband are also active teachers in the children’s ministries of Faith Baptist Church. Mrs. Hose has three sons, two of whom are enrolled at Faith.

Mr. Mike Knakal is also a graduate of Faith Baptist Schools who has returned to teach at his alma mater.  Mr. Knakal teaches in the high school and works hard to make math enjoyable and understandable!  He also coaches the varsity soccer team and works with the teen group at Faith Baptist Church.  He and his wife, Melanie, have two children and a third coming soon.

Mrs. Deanna Lewis began her teaching career on the island of Guam.  Before settling into the second grade, she taught the Kindergarten and Pre-Kindergarten classes at Faith. She has been a part of our faculty since 2002. Mrs. Lewis has three children enrolled in FBS.

Mrs. Laurie Moore joined the faculty two years ago to teach sciences to both junior and senior high, but has added art for elementary and high school to her schedule this year.  Mrs. Moore puts her heart and soul into each class she teaches at the school as well as the junior church program she heads up at Faith Baptist Church. She and her husband have three grown children, two of whom graduated from FBS.

Pastor Larry Nagengast is the administrator of Faith Baptist Schools, and has served here since 1980.  He was saved as a teenager and spent the majority of his school years in the public school system.  As a result, he has an intense desire to train kids to serve Christ through the means of Christian education.  He teaches the senior Bible class, a life skills class for senior guys, and the Consumer Math class.

Mrs. Julie Parsons is director of the food services program but has been an active “room mom” for many years. Mrs. Parsons also teaches girls Sunday school at Faith Baptist Church. She and her husband, Chuck, have two children enrolled at FBS.

  Mr. Jim Potter first became acquainted with Faith Baptist Schools while traveling with the Academy of Arts, a drama group that helped produce a school play in one week – the way we still do it.  The Potters hired in at Faith in 1985.  Mr. Potter teaches high school speech, history, and literature classes.  Both of the Potter’s children are graduates of Faith Baptist Schools.

  Mrs. Vonnie Potter has taught English classes at Faith since 1985.  She also teaches a creative writing class, and home economics to the senior girls, as well as overseeing the costume and makeup crews for the annual school play.  Mrs. Potter loves music and puts her talents to use as a member of the church choir and teaching acoustic guitar lessons.

  Mrs. Michelle Rierson, another class of 1988 graduate, works in the school office as part of the financial secretaries team; her background in the banking field makes her a perfect fit for working with finances. She also coaches the junior high volleyball team.  Mrs. Rierson and her husband Mike, have three sons, two of whom are still students at Faith.

 Mrs. Joanne Seal Mrs. Joanne Seal teaches the fifth grade here at Faith Baptist Schools where she has been on faculty since 1997.  She loves organizing the yearly elementary field day activities, and is a vital part of the church nursery care ministry.  Mrs. Seal has two daughters who have graduated from FBS, one of whom has returned as a part-time faculty member.

Mrs. Karyn St. Amand, who has been a member of our faculty since 1997, teaches the sixth grade and is often found serving behind the scenes for school and church events. She has been a vital part of the nursery care program at Baptist Church for many years.  All four of her children are FBS graduates.  She is an avid Michigan fan.

  Mrs. Jane Stebbins, the first grade teacher at Faith, has been a member of the faculty since 1984.  She is a calm and patient teacher who loves to see the academic, physical, and spiritual growth of her students throughout the year. All three of her sons have graduated from FBS.

  Pastor Tigg Vanaman teaches Spanish at Faith Baptist Schools.  He has five children, four of whom have already graduated from FBS, with a sophomore currently enrolled at the school.  Pastor Tigg is senior pastor of Great Lakes Baptist Church in Holly, Michigan.
